Dr. Robert Martino, Founder of Freedom Day USA
Dr. Robert "Bob" Martino is a native of the Clarksburg area. He is a 1983 graduate of Washington Irving High School and a 1990 WVU School of Dentistry graduate. Following dental school, Dr. Martino practiced dentistry in the Bridgeport and Buckhannon areas. Currently, Martino owns and operates 7 Dental Practices in West Virginia presiding as CEO over Wilmar Management Company. They currently have over 100 employees in West Virginia. The core value of the company is to serve West Virginia. Wilson Martino Dental is very active in their communities including collecting Coats for the needy, Free dental day for kids at each of its locations, and a Candy Buy Back Program in which they buy kids extra candy at Halloween and then send it to our Troops overseas. continue reading...
Wendy Boyce, National Director
Wendy Boyce is the National Director for Freedom Day USA and works as the liaison between our Freedom Day USA dental and business participants and our National Committee Members.
The daughter of a former Marine and a part of the Wilmar Management Team (which includes Wilson Martino Dental, TLC Dental, Smile Defenders, iSmile Ortho, OraCare, EASW and more); Wendy is honored to be involved with Freedom Day USA because of the great impact it can have on our Military and Veterans.
Wendy was born and raised in West Virginia, where she currently resides with her husband, Duane, and two daughters Megan and Hailey. She has an MBA in marketing and is SEO Certified. She is also heavily involved in community outreach, builds & donates websites for and volunteers with many local groups, including: Shinnston Spartans Youth Football and Cheer, Shinnston All Kids Sports 5K Fundraisers, Lincoln High School Golf Team, Lincoln High School Marching Cougars, Lincoln High School Cheerleading, Ross Medical Education Centers Advisory Board, and more.

Dr. Ralph Berk, DDS, FAAPD
Dr. Ralph Berk is a 1976 graduate from Columbia University’s School of Dental and Oral Surgery. He continued his studies at Columbia where he completed his specialist training in pediatric dentistry and dentistry for people with special needs. He went on to become board certified, which is the highest level of achievement in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Berk has been the Director of Dentistry at Nyack Hospital for over twenty years. He has owned and managed several pediatric dental and orthodontic practices over the past thirty-five years. Although Dr. B no longer practices clinical dentistry, he continues to mentor pediatric dentists and orthodontists in successful business practices in the Greater New York area. He and his wife, Cherie, were executive coaches and owners of Fortune Practice Management of New York.

Ragan Hartman has been working with Fortune Management since 1997, and currently serves as President to the Tennessee and Alabama divisions. She earned her Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from Middle Tennessee State University, with an emphasis in marketing and behavioral psychology.

Shannon Richkowski, RDH, Hygiene Mastery
Shannon Richkowski is a hygiene educator who has been in dental practices for 16 years, while practicing dental hygiene for over a decade. She is a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, American Dental Educators Association, American Dental Hygiene Association, and Directory of Dental Speakers. Dr. Craig Spodak is a third generation dentist who joined his father in his practice in Delray Beach, Fla. after graduating from Tufts University in 1998. His dream was to change the way patients experience dental care and he developed a new vision for the modern dental practice with a goal to deliver comprehensive dental care in a singular, all inclusive, 13,000 square foot, internally managed group dental practice. Dr. Amanda Canto
Dr. Amanda Canto has been sharing her passion for healthy, beautiful smiles for the past 28 years. She is dedicated to exceptional relationships with her patients as well as the community in order to educate and enrich those she reaches.
The child of immigrant parents from Panama and Peru, Amanda Canto grew up fluent in both Spanish and English. Her hard working parents instilled a serious work ethic and a strong sense of morals in all of their children. At an early age, her parents gave her the choice to become “a Doctor, or a Doctor or… a Doctor,” and she is eternally grateful for a wonderful direction. (As a cosmetic dentist, Dr. Canto manages to be both a doctor and an artist.) Her parents insisted on great education for herself and her 7 siblings, all of whom are successful in their chosen paths.
Dr. Canto received her undergraduate degree from Southwestern University in 1985 and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1989 from The University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. Upon graduation Dr. Canto was chosen to participate in a full year private fellowship in cosmetic dentistry and served as Assistant Editor of Reality Publishing Company for dentistry. She is a graduate of multiple prestigious dental programs including The Pacific Aesthetic Continuum, Las Vegas Institute and has completed thousands of hours of continuing education in all areas of dentistry. Additionally, Dr. Canto is a founding member of the World Clinical Laser Institute, a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Academy of Laser Dentistry.
